    After having discovered our few mom & pop pharmacies where medication is normally dropped off and picked up in 5 minutes, I try to avoid local pharmacies. However, my pharmacy was out of medication, and this one had it. As always, there was a mess. “We’ll have it ready tomorrow.” I call in the morning, “We’ll need a few more hours.” Only the drive-through I open during the pandemic (a good thing); my med costs $15.00. She quoted me $168 for purchasing Cialis generics. She ran it without using my insurance card on file. I pointed that out. I’ve seen this happen before. It does not take long to rerun the medication with my insurance. Ms. Personality tells me, “You’ll have to drive to the back of the line.” I ask why. “Because you want to use your insurance.” Duh???? Who doesn’t? I complied. I would not have ranted during this pandemic, but even before this, my experience picking up meds for a sick friend. They always involved a “mistake” that would result in either her paying much more the normal price for high quality Cialis generics, or a long wait, or, “can you come back in 1 hour,” the pharmacist (singular) is at lunch.
